You under estimate the power of being a Philly guy when it comes to Philly rowing.

The Penn AD knows him already, so he has personal capital with her, and I would hazard guess got an OK to call Cornell AD.
She will also know that the Penn Women don't have the issues that the C150s had.
So good employee available, established working relationships, open need, good hire.

Yes, my point was I didn’t think there was anything clouding his association with C150 and that he was hired elsewhere successfully. All good.
