Re: Henley Talk
That’s on London RC for even going into the starting blocks; It’s just wild that the umpire can make whatever call they want on the fly.

Re: Henley Talk
Big drama in the final of the Wyfold. London lost their rudder and steered into Sydney. Sydney clearly unhappy with the ...

Re: Spring 2025
The crab happened with about 150 meters to go; Harvard had already gone through them to take over 1st place, but Cal was holding steady in 2nd place.
Re: 25 Season

Re: Fall 2023 / Spring 2024
SMU, Oklahoma, and Texas couldn't race on the regular course due to this sewage spill last weekend. They went to a different location and only had a 1k course. https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/local/sewage-spill-white-rock-lake-threatens-rowing-races/287-dd8bd236-4b09-4de1-8a8f-8e74cef29b82 "...

Re: Spring 2024
It seems like racing is either canceled or altered every year; at what point do teams stop committing to this regatta?

Re: Most Improved for 2024
Difference is O'Neill left Cal in a good place so Acosta could just pick up where he left off. It s like Cupini, is basically blowing up SMU as she walks out the door leaving very little for Graham to come in and build upon. Transfer rules were a lot different 10 years ago when Dave left Cal; athle...

Re: US Squad and Racing
I still find it difficult to get my head around the US policy of selecting boats so late in the season. If you compare it to the likes of GB, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Australia and Romania. they all tend to select their boats early in the season and give them opportunities to race and develop ...

Re: 2023 Coaching Carousel
Not surprised to hear this at all. I heard when everything went down, not one rower came to Perkins defense with the administration.socalstroke wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 1:51 pm On the flip side, sounds like many in the temple program were unhappy with coach.
