Also "The Froome Effect"?

TdF has A LOT of competition for sports viewers' eyes at this time of year, and public interest is cyclical. Yes, the allegations haven't helped but TBH I think you're overreacting as much as you're accusing others of underreacting.
Yes Kit, even the Brits have had enough. They dont like him, they dont trust him, and they are switching off. They dont associate with Sky.

Its exactly the Froome effect. Brits are not proud of Froome as they are Andy Murray. They don't believe him. And they are not sure of Mo Farah either.

Youre in denial Daniel and youre simply not in touch with whats going on and being sold too.

The facts support it, the data supports it.

The vast majority of the sports physiologist community believe Sky cheat

The consensus is that WADA have been less than transparent in their decision re Froome and the UCI have thrown WADA firmly under the bus.

Froome is disliked as an athlete and a person as is demonstrate is his continual abysmal results in the BBC SPOTY awards

You may want to not believe it...but then Phill Leggit the famous commentator on the TDF denied until the final day that Lance doped and even now he cannot find it within himself to be critical.

Brailsford is now desperate to depict things as anti British and not anti Sky. He knows Sky will be booed into Paris and he is protecting whats left of a critically and mortally damaged sporting brand.

My factual data shows people are turning away from Cycling. The Sporting calendar is ALWAYS busy this time of year. Nothing has changed except the viewing figures.

Dumoulin leads Froome, so he's obviously dodgy too. Am I doing this right?.

Wolf, that’s a bold, and potentially libellous statement.

It’s not

Both have either abused the Tue process or failed a drug test

Here is an interesting comparison

All time fastest climbs on a section of comparible course in the TDF

What we do know is that everyone in this list was doping on EPO

Froome of course was “clean”. Remember in 2011 Froome was one race from being dropped by sky for being mediocre at best. It should be said around this time there was intense speculation regarding mechanical doping.

AX3 Domaines All-Time Top 100 List:
1. Laiseka 22:57, 2001

2. Armstrong 22:59, 2001
3. Froome 23:14, 2013
4. Ulrich 23:17, 2003
5. Zubeldia 23:19, 2003
6. Ulrich 23:22, 2001

7. Armstrong 23:24, 2003
8. Vinokourov 23:34, 2003

9. Basso 23:36, 2003

10. Armstrong 23:40, 2005

Taking all things into account like tech and physiology and training etc it should take 20-30 years to bridge the gap and return to the performances EPO gave. froome the rather average, nothing special until he was 27 almost fired cyclist bridged it in 10.......I mean at least Lance was a phenom from 15.....

Lol, you mentioned the world “libelous” on a cycling thread. I will talk you what is libelous Wiggins thinking he would make the 2020 Olympic team as a rower!

Yeah that sort of died a death. We didn’t even see Wiggins in a Scullers Henley boat and his buddy James Cracknell has set his sites on bigger things. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Nothing to do with Froome having won the Giro then? Which is what most expert analysis seems to be saying ...

But, honestly, when has it not been?

We have 140+ years of doping in professional cycling.
And admissions that it is necessary to stay competitive for almost as long.

From cocaine & amphetamines to EPO.
Blame the deaths on poisoning by rival teams & sickness on "bad fish".

Cycling, to me, has never been anything but entertainment - the NFL of wheeled sport.
Doping increases the excitement for the fanbase.

Kit..sharpen up

Froome having won the Giro, while being investigated for a drug test failure that others have been banned for. And then doing a ridiculous race that defies medical possibilities and winning it with a burst that is exceptionally hard to explain given the rest of his tour
