If her contract had goals with incentives written into it and the goals were met then she should get the bonus.

Here is the skinny

A big part of her compensation was built into the bonus as the board was worried about a a CEO not hitting goals. At this point she has exceeded or hit every goal set in place.

I have a recommended goal for her 2022 performance plan:

- In 2022, receive 75% positive comments from Elite, Veteran, and Old Timer members of the Rowing Illustrated community.

This goal is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic (maybe), and timely.

Do the paying membership get to see these goals. You clearly know them and I hope you can share how measurably successful our CEO has been.

I see an organization rewarding a CEO attempting to cut it's way to prosperity at a time the national team is not producing. But perhaps my goals aren't shared by the Board.

Thats a contract between the board and the CEO. Those emails are public for your personal research.

I cant pass judgement on the national team just yet, the new system is just being put together.

God himself couldn’t pull that off. I’m less than thrilled with some of the decisions to date, but we need to give her a fair target.
