"Initial lanes will be assigned via a computer generated random draw."

Who runs the computer? Because you can keep generating random draws until you get the draw you want. They should make it public like the Town Hall drawing at Henley. Make for a good watch party.

It is public, all championship draws are.

As with many things in life, you don't know you're in the good times until they're gone. And boy are the good times for Olympic rowing long gone.

The cynic would almost believe this is being done on purpose to make coastal rowing look more appealing.

Well they reseed lanes based on a wind so how they are going to make that fair only FISA knows
