Crossy saying the Canada pair went "into 8s rowing style" in the sprint. It's a sprint man, and UW athletes have thrown down some pretty fast stuff. Was it "ergo type stuff" when UW ran down the GB u23s in the Visitor's last year?

Yes they shortened up, but they did a nice job picking it up and tapping it along on the front end. This isn't dressage!

Which race? I’m always down for some Harvard related drama…

They already edited it from the single race replay. You have to find it in the live feed record.

I used my little fruit fone to capture the video off the television and it is at or near https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOgFpaHCGTE

Obviously, being a video of a video makes it very poor quality, but it shows the fun incident.

It was the 1973 Harvard Ladies Plate crew that were scheduled to do a row past. They were instructed to proceed across the course but took too long, panicked and then tried to back down off the course. Ended up just blocking the course forcing the race to be stopped.

Hot - that Fawley semi between Windsor Boys and Leander. What a race. Gutted for Windsor Boys stroke. I'd reckon he had the steering and you could tell he was crushed after the race. Hopefully he/they get a shot next year

Another big hot: the commentating team all week. One or two of them not necessarily what I prefer but overall just incredible commentary. The usual suspects (Crossy, Searle, Cook, Grainger, etc) but also lots of other great commentators. Mo Sbihi has been a great addition, too - very humble and insightful.

HOT: GB M4X taking the scalp of the Poles
Spain winning their first ever Henley title (not that the Spanish team have entered that many times0
Brookes were in 6 finals (including composites) and won them all - including 4 consecutive races
Greenwich v Deerfield - a great race in the only all American final
Canada's W8 handing a smack down to the GB W8
Teddies v st Paul's in the PE - the PE final always delivers a brilliant race

NOT: the weather - it was bloody cold and windy up in the Press Box!
Stewards final - Thames were the sacrificial lambs to the GB M4- bumped up from the Visitors just so the British 4 could get a race
The older I get, the better I was
