Re: USRowing's Logo and Branding
That's some futuristic font for a non-fancy logo
Regarding the indoor rowing inclusion, I can't think of an elegant way to work that into a logo that also represents on-the-water rowing (unless you want to throw in a flywheel as the o in Rowing ). What sport governing body has to administer a water sport as well as its on-land counterpart that does not involve the same measure of victory? Is there another movement-based (not game) water sport that has a stationary land equivalent?

Re: USRowing's Logo and Branding
The best equivalency would be US soccer incorporating runners into their NGB. Or maybe even better, Soul Cycle-ers are not cyclists(unless they are). Erging is crosstraining that mostly uses the same body mechanics. Runners are not soccer players; riding a stationary bike doesn't make you a cyclist; ergo, ergers are not rowers.

Note the complete lack of roller skis in the Norwegian Skiing logo...

Mark Davies would like a word. Paraphrasing from the rowing chat podcast last month: Erging might not be how you think of rowing, but for others it's their only connection to the sport and rowing would be better off to recognized and leveraged that.
