Wooden single repair

Post by JD »

I'm in Minneapolis. A club member bought an 80's wood Kaschper that previous to being knocked off the top rack, was in excellent shape. It has an intact keel but broken skin and stringers in the bow. Any suggestion as to who can repair such a thing?

Jakob's son, Jurgen, owns Levator https://www.levator.com/legacy.html and they do repairs on wood Kaschper shells. They may be able to help. I had a hole in my old wood boat and Jakob sent me that section which was easy for me, who has no ability to work with his hands, to replace. After an alligator attack took off my stern I took my boat back to Jakob for the repair. Jurgen was still working with his father and did a perfect job on it.

I wish you good luck!
