Prepatellar Bursitis

I have sustained this injury after a fall from my bike, and then lots of kneeling over the subsequent days. woke up one morning with a "pop-eye knee". I'm being treated with an anti-inflammatory steroid, and antibiotics. Has anyone else experienced this? How long should I lay off? I've taken the last 2 days off, but don't want to risk losing my hard earned endurance base from the fall and early winter.

Taking a week off won't kill your base. Chill out be smart.

Oh and stay off the road bike if you want to row...
