Had an entertaining day down at Wallingford yesterday. Highlights included Brookes rolling a 4+ just above Brunel - a truly beautiful sight.
Downsides included massive delays to both divisions. Brookes' capsize before Div1 didn't help, but boating for that division was absolute carnage, and the marshalling area was even worse. Crews spinning into position below Brunel were blocking the river, meaning that a queue backed up through the gut and almost to the start of crews trying to get into place. Thankfully, although boating for Div2 began almost an hour late, things went slightly quicker and the first crews went off not long after 2pm.
Does anyone happen to know what Christ Church did to get disqualified? Must have been something pretty daft.
