I think Penn's freshmen will have more speed than people are really expecting but I still think that Harvard and Cornell will be able to come out on top.

1v:
Georgetown- Impressive showing at the chase, lots of returning guys. I see the Hoyas win it all
Princeton - Always good
Harvard - Will be fierce this year never doubt Butt
Cornell - Strong frosh last year
Yale - can't but them much lower
Penn - who knows .. wild card
Navy - those guys are crazy fit, maybe overworked for their own good
Dartmouth - too long of a winter
Columbia - not enough attention focused on the LW program
MIT - MIT

I do not know enough about the lightweight frosh so just going to stick with the 1V

Georgetown? Number 1? Neither their varsity lights nor their frosh lights made the A final at Sprints last year..

1. Princeton - Too deep and too talented.
2. Cornell - If the ergs I've heard are true, they might be able to push Princeton and possibly beat a very strong Harvard crew.
3. Harvard - All the medalists will be close.
4. Navy - Great performance at the 2010 IRA.
5. Yale - Peaked very well last year.
Don't know enough about the rest.

I think UDel has a real shot at sprints of shaking things up and making the final... Also no one is going to be within a closed length of Princeton all year

UDel barely edged columbia who appears to be one of the worst sprints teams...

also, last week your sixth best team almost already disproved your statement about no one being within a length of Princeton. What makes you think teams 2-5 could not close that length? Are you pretending it is still preseason and there are no results to look at?

Why? Are Harvard and Cornell going to be 1st and 2nd by open water?

Harvard sucks, Princeton will win it all.

Now that that's out of the way, I think UDel actually is a fast team. Doing well against what appears to be a quick Harvard squad (if we ignore the 2V) is impressive, as well as wins over Penn and Columbia. I believe that as of right now they are not allowed to race at Sprints, however, since they're a club team. How much of the Ivy League do they have to beat to earn a slot?

Yeah... already disproven djs3343. Nice.

1. Princeton
2. Harvard
3. Cornell
4. Georgetown
5. Yale
6. Navy

7. *Delaware, if they were allowed to race*
7. Dartmouth
8. Columbia
9. Penn
10. MIT
11. St. Joe's

Harvard vs. Cornell and Penn should be interesting this week, although Cornell always puts on speed after this race.
