Thems the breaks. Tough racing regardless and there is no easy category. I hope that Will and Andrew keep training as with a few more races under their belt I think they could be ok.

Racing Germany after having two intense races this week could spell disaster and confidence is a precious commodity this summer. This country owes Teti big time. He could put his wife in that boat for all I care. I thought his row2k interview and how he described his selection process made a ton of sense and it is so simple in retrospect but the genius is in the simplicity. And he conveys his thoughts very clearly for a guy from Philly. But to keep guys like Inman, Coppola, Walsh etc out of the 8 with so much on the line takes some cajones. Wow.

no way would I race it. The eight did what they came to do now get back and focus on getting the training cycle right for London. Let the Germans wonder if there is a new dark horse in the field but no reason to show them our true current speed.

Can't USRowing replace some of the rowers and those replaced will simply not participate at the Olympics? They also read that they may participate in another boat that qualified, in 2000 couldn't Teti have rowed Wherly in the 8 and also the 4. Seems that would have been within the rules.
Just wondering. I would like to hear an answer from someone more official.
