"When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple

They don't have their normal tv cameras set up yet so I'm guessing they're not planning on doing any video until the world cup starts.

Glad that qualification nightmare is now over. Their race wasn't very inspiring, but they accomplished their objective. Time to get back to Cali and back to work. Finally, the rowers in that boat can start focusing on winning a medal without Lucerne hanging over their heads.

Wow, the patriotism on these boards is just staggering... Guys, every American boat that raced today won. How about we celebrate that fact for at least a few hours before we turn back to the usual trends of bitching and sniping?
