Re: US Squad and Racing
IMO the best actionable/identifiable bit of the coverage was Kara talking about managing herself between the ears on the starting line. Really honest and something everyone can identify with. Takeaway: know the training will take over when the race starts. Note to USR... put a QR code on the screen ...

Re: The Boys in the Boat Movie
Budget was $40MM, 2-3x cumulative gross is considered good (as I understand it). Box office chart on tracking site suggests it is doing well to date, re "good legs"

Re: 2022 #s & so-what
Entertaining podcast from Take Over the Row Coaching Conference with Bill Lamb and Bruce Konopka. Last question wraps with some thoughts on USR, costs, and national team development. I don't agree with the "money grab" comments, but I do agree with the critique on the development pipeline...

Re: US Squad and Racing
I think we can focus on the races for the next few days and save the jabs for later. Put it on the oars.
The W2x and 1x are the races I'm most interested in watching, rooting for people I follow/know in both events.

Re: Masters 2023
I recall prior years allowing practice after racing hours, very helpful re rigging shakedowns. A lot of reunion/buddy boats that otherwise won't get any practice strokes and need to make adjustments during race warmup. I get it, re respecting volunteers, safety, but its an expensive trip too. Weds n...

2023 Charles River Speed Orders
Hi all - just a heads up that the team at Rowsandall.com has opened up the 2023 edition of the Charles River Speed Order. This got going during the pandemic as a virtual racing option, but has proven to be popular. Record a time trial piece on any device and upload it to the Rowsandall website, comp...
